撐著(zhu)(zhu)油紙傘,獨(du)自彷徨(huang)在悠長(chang),悠長(chang)又寂寥的雨巷,我(wo)希(xi)望逢著(zhu)(zhu)一個(ge)丁香一樣(yang)的,結著(zhu)(zhu)愁(chou)怨的姑娘。

她靜默(mo)地走近(jin),走近(jin),又投出,太(tai)息(xi)(“太(tai)”通“嘆”,太(tai)息(xi)就是嘆息(xi)的意思)一般(ban)的眼光。
她飄(piao)過像夢(meng)一(yi)般的,像夢(meng)一(yi)般的凄婉迷茫。像夢(meng)中飄(piao)過一(yi)枝(zhi)丁香的,我身旁飄(piao)過這(zhe)女郎(lang);她靜默地(di)遠了(le),遠了(le),到了(le)頹圮(pǐ)的籬墻(qiang),走(zou)盡這(zhe)雨(yu)巷。

《雨巷》1927年夏(xia)天,寫成后差不(bu)多一年,作者將它投(tou)寄到《小說月(yue)報》。當(dang)時代理《小說月(yue)報》編(bian)輯(ji)的(de)葉(xie)圣陶一看到這(zhe)首詩(shi)就非常喜歡,稱(cheng)它“替(ti)新(xin)詩(shi)的(de)音節開(kai)了(le)一個(ge)新(xin)的(de)紀元(yuan)”,并送給作者“雨巷詩(shi)人”的(de)稱(cheng)號。這(zhe)一年,作者才22歲。
一(yi)(yi)首(shou)好的(de)抒情詩,應該是(shi)藝術美的(de)結晶(jing)。它會超越時間(jian)(jian)和(he)空間(jian)(jian)的(de)限制而喚起人們審美的(de)感情。然而多年(nian)來(lai),《雨巷(xiang)》和(he)戴(dai)望舒的(de)其他一(yi)(yi)些詩作,卻(que)被視為象征派和(he)現代(dai)派的(de)無病呻吟而排斥在(zai)文(wen)學史的(de)視野外(wai);多年(nian)以后,人們才像觀賞出(chu)土文(wen)物一(yi)(yi)樣,把這些作品從遺忘的(de)塵土中挖(wa)掘出(chu)來(lai),又重新看到了它們身上的(de)藝術光輝。
